I was tasked by Project Pearls founder Mrs. Melissa Villa to photograph two sets of 50 women. The first group are women still living and working in the charcoal factories of Ulingan. The second group of women are former habitants of Ulingan that were relocated in Batia, Santa Maria, Bulacan.

Melissa wanted to put those women in the spotlight. Those are hard working moms trying to make a honest living. Melissa will treat them to a movie, a lunch and give them some groceries.

I will post 5 mothers every day. First the moms still living in Ulingan and then the moms that were relocated.
